Jamal joined Bahrain Bourse in 1998. As Chief Operating Officer, she headed the digital transformation department at Bahrain Bourse. She is also responsible for integrating environmental, social, and governance practices and forging partnerships with GCC exchanges. In October 2022, Bahrain Bourse signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation with the Muscat Stock Exchange. Bahrain Bourse’s market capitalization reached $30.2 billion in January 2023. Jamal also serves on the board of Bahrain Clear, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bahrain Bourse. Bahrain Clear launched the Bahrain Private Market, a unified electronic platform for closed joint stock companies, in August 2022.
